WIT Studio’s YAIBA: Samurai Legend drops its main trailer for Cour 2 ahead of its June 28 return! 🔥
🎤 New to the cast:
Sayaka Senbongi joins as Nadeko, a woman from Yaiba’s past who he met while training in the jungle.
🎵 New OP/ED:
Opening: “Kaze no Kizu” by J-Pop band RAIREN
Ending: “Samurai Heart” by Hoshikuzu Chronicle
📺 YAIBA is based on Gosho Aoyama’s classic manga (Detective Conan, Magic Kaito), and was first animated in the 90s. This new WIT Studio reboot premiered in April 2025 and follows jungle-raised samurai-in-training Yaiba Kurogane as he returns to Japan and faces supernatural forces.
🔥 Cour 2 teases high-stakes kendo battles, awakened powers, and deeper lore between Yaiba and his rival Takeshi Onimaru.
👀 A fresh visual for Cour 2 was also released, teasing the growing darkness surrounding the next arc.
